Description

In the past several years I have planted my backyard with mostly native plants, trees and wildflowers. Have concentrated on plants that are host or food source for both butterflies and birds. One of the bonuses of this is the stop over of migrating Ruby-throated Hummingbirds during the spring and fall migrations. This photograph is of a Ruby-throated Hummingbird on one of my non-native Firespikes.
