Cool pic. Love the open beak! Why do you think you have so many Evening Grosbeaks? I’m in Northern California, in the foothills, and I’ve only seen one lone female Evening Grosbeak on my property this winter. I had lots of Black-Headed Grosbeaks in the summer.
