A flock of these beautifully patterned ducks are permanent residents of the pond at Canon Hill Park in Spokane. It is the perfect habitat; surrounded with oak trees, to satisfy their acorn diet, and thick pond grasses. This was taken in October 2015 while I was in the area searching for “fall color” shots.
