Description

The blue jays are common and abundant birds to my feeder. I affectionately call the 20+ blue jays who regularly come to my feeders, “the blue jay hoard”. This autumn when the mountain ash turned colour, I thought it would be great to see the brilliant blue of my resident jays against the beautiful autumn reds, oranges, and yellows. So I moved the peanut feeder over to the tree they often sit in.

More often than not, I prefer to see simplicity pictures taken of birds. Your photo is the exception with everything that is in it. I love the fall colors in the background of that Jay, which sets of the bird’s blue and white colors so well. Great submission.
