Northern Cardinals are plentiful in my yard here on the East Coast. When one of my bird baths broke (tipped over too often by the raccoons), I stuck some tree limbs in the base, set it out near a feeder, and voila! — instant bird perch. The cardinals have especially enjoyed the new hangout spot, and I’ve loved the photos I’ve gotten as a result.
