Description

I was outside in our yard taking pictures of a flock of warblers – the birds were darting about picking small caterpillars from the long, un-mowed grass that we leave along the edges of our yard as one way to help the local wildlife. I realized there was another bird holding very still on a low tree branch, watching – and when I got closer, I saw that it was a Hermit Thrush! I took a few photos, and then left him to his perch. A fun yard bird to see up so close!
