Description

Each year, the ruby-throated hummingbirds stop and visit the patch of bee balm I planted next to the house. I tried for nearly the entire summer to catch one for a photo, but each time I’d look out the window and see one, I happened to not have the camera in hand! I finally started carrying the camera with me everywhere each day and finally it payed off! In mid August, I caught this female stopping for a sip!
