This image is so interesting. I keep coming back to it to examine it a little further in its detail. It’s so fun thinking that you were able to catch that brilliant moment in your camera! It’s clear that the little sparrow is intently looking at Iggy, too. Very nice. Very fun.

Thanks Ellen. It was interesting to me that this sparrow flew from the bird bath, which is about 9 feet away and landed by Iggy. There was no food on the ground there. Several times in the past few years I’ve put a peanut in Iggy’s mouth for a Western Scrub Jay that comes when I call him. Other than that, I’ve never put any food at the base of the cedar tree where Iggy is. I was thrilled to snap the little sparrow who seemed interested in Iggy.
