Description

Snow geese were moving around —- I noticed that one flock was on a path to cross the moon – that was still visible on a cold morning. I waited. And was rewarded with this shot of the last leg of the flock crossing between where I was standing and the moon. Best part, this is not a composite — it is exactly how they appeared. Great way to start the new year!

Last year, I missed a great shot of snow geese flying very low over my head. Well, I didn’t have my camera. Even with my camera – I probably would have just stood there and stared in amazement.

So, hats off to you for being where you were and being ready with your camera to take great photo! Indeed – a great start to 2016!

The early bird catches the worm. You caught a beautiful picture!
