This woodpecker visits my feeder many times each day and believe me, when the feeder is low on peanuts, he will let me know! I shot this in my back yard using a Kwik Camo Photography Blind at a distance of about 18 feet. The moss encrusted tree limb had a knot hole I could place seed and peanuts in. The woodpecker never minded my presence and came back for more food.
