Description

I came across this guy basking in the sun in the icy waters of the Seneca River very close to the shoreline. There had been multiple numbers of them out on the river last winter mixing with other birds, but this was the first time I was able to get so close to get a decent shot with my camera given it’s limitations. I think they’re beautiful and wanted to share!
