Mount Mitchell, South Toe, NC, United States

Description

This is an experiment more than anything to see if your site will accept a vertical format. The bird however was on Mt Mitchell in North Carolina in September. September is migration time on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Warblers are the highlights, but many other birds go over as well. If you hit it right, it is as close to birder heaven as you can get. MT Mitchell, btw, is the highest point east of the Mississippi.
