Description

Well, I hate to call any bird boring – it seems a bit unfair – but perhaps mourning doves are just too much like pigeons to be prime photographic targets. I captured this pair as they were resting near the bird feeder during a spring snow shower – for some reason they didn’t panic and fly away as usual as I crept towards them with my camera – maybe they thought I was becoming a bit of a bore myself.
