Description

Any rail is a good rail, in my opinion, but this particular Sora was incredibly cooperative!

It was mostly hiding among the reeds, but it occasionally came out in full view to stand in the shallow mud. When the light hit it, I was lucky to capture both the bird and its reflection.

Taken from a boardwalk that crosses the marsh at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum, within the city of Philadelphia.
