Week 10: Ground Dwellers

this photo piqued my interest. Very charming and these are magnificent birds. I just had to do some research on them. Even though their name hints that they nest on the ground – they don’t. Tree cavities seem to be their preferred nest sites.
Enjoyed learning about these rare birds of Africa. And loved the photo.
