Description

I was walking alone in a local park this past Spring and heard a tell-tale “tap-tap-tap”. A short search revealed this little guy on a tree. He and I were all alone for about 10 minutes and I took about 70 shots as he moved from tree to tree. I didn’t even know what kind of bird it was until I got home and looked him up! Definitely, the most unusual bird I have photographed in the wild.
