With 2 feet of snow on the ground after the blizzard, this robin was basking in the sun in a holly bush in the backyard. What a pleasant surprise.

The day after the Blizzard of 2016, this robin was basking in the sun.
A pleasant surprise indeed! Great photograph! I love the composition with the snow in the background, the holly leaves, and the plumped up little robin. Two feet of snow didn’t intimidate this gem!
