A turkey vulture warms itself on a cold morning.
What a pose! Great shot! I have only seen these birds soaring or ripping apart a dead animal. I suspect that this vulture surprised you too.
The title fits the image perfectly! Your image is very unexpected, vultures are usually seen as carrion-eating bald-headed birds, but your image really shows how beautiful they can be. Amazing image!
