Every year there is a local hummingbird round up, and one way or another I end up volunteering to help. Learning to band hummers takes a long time to learn and you must use specialized equipment because they are so tiny. That’s why I like this photo- it really puts the bird’s size into perspective.
Week 2: Hummingbirds
