Description

I came home from grocery shopping and happened to glance out the window. I saw this little Redstart perched on the base of the hummingbird feeder. I dropped my grocery bags, grabbed my camera and took several photos through the window. At first he just seemed curious about the feeder, but he suddenly hopped onto the edge of the ant guard, and the next thing I knew, he was taking a bath, at times completely submerging in that little cup of water. He stayed for about 5 minutes as I watched with a warm heart through the window, then, went about his way, a happy and refreshed little bird!

Curious about your photo (because half of it is covered over with your text), I enlarged it. What a surprise! A really fun and interesting shot. Nice!
