Description

Great Blue Herons are common on the pond at Washington Crossing Historic Park because of the excellent habitat. The pond is large enough to support fish, frogs, and turtles year round and it is deceptively shallow considering how wide it is. There is always a catch for those patient enough to wait (both photographer and Heron). The result can be very satisfying and Beautiful.
