Description

I was watching this wood thrush in my yard one morning as it caught this worm after a spring rain. It would toss the worm and catch it and then bang it on the ground and then pick it up and do it again.

That is actually a Brown thrasher, you can tell by the yellow eye darker red-orange coloring, and longer curved beak, but yes they do look alike.
