Description

While taking photos of the osprey nest with parents and fledglings in
Chesapeake Beach, MD, I spotted what seemed to be a great blue heron sitting on the osprey nest while the parents were away. Suddenly, one of them came flying back to the nest looking at the heron that was just too close. The heron didn’t fly away, but just kept walking on the nearby jetty.
