During a snowshoe hike on Cypress Mountain this cheeky and curious Stellar Jay couldn’t resist the nuts I brought. I was expecting Gray Jays, they were about 10 around, but having a Steller’s Jay sitting on my hand made my day! An amazing experience!

An all around gorgeous scene with the stellar jay coming in for its snack! It sure was great experience that capped off you winter wilderness outing nicely!
