Description

It was a very gray rainy day and I decided to throw some extra sunflower seeds on the deck railing to lessen the competition at the feeder. This little goldfinch immediately took notice and feasted before the others caught on and joined him. There was quite the flurry of activity going back and forth between the feeder and the railing. I love how the backdrop of autumn yellow trees blend with his muted fall coloring.
