This Sharp Shinned Hawk (correct me if it’s really a Cooper) was sitting long enough for me to fumble with the tripod and remove a lens cap. But he was off when a starling that lives in our attic popped out of the soffit. I guess the starling missed all the screaming alerts from the blue jays.
