This is Henry, a mature male Anna’s hummingbird. He first arrived in the cedar off of my patio 3 years ago this past November and has stayed ever since. He arrives early in the morning, usually by 6 a.m. to feed and returns to the nectar feeder consistently throughout the day. Though guarding his feeders, it is not uncommon for him to allow a female or two to feed while he is on the patio.
