The Three-toed Woodpecker is an occasional visitor to my property. Of the nine woodpeckers that are common to Minnesota, the Three-toed Woodpecker is the most uncommon on our property. I have had eight of the nine Minnesota woodpeckers visit our seventeen acres of land that borders the Superior National Forest.

Nice…we only have an acre but you re right, when you love bird watching with all the variants, colors and antics, it is wonderful to see new faces once in a while.
