Waiting For The Mulberries To Ripen

Each summer, flocks of cedar waxwings and gray catbirds descend on this mulberry bush in my backyard, stripping it of fruit while fending off the squirrels and chipmunks who crave the fruit, as well. And then the birds seemingly disappear... until next year.
