Description

We figured, when we put up a suet feeder, that we would get sparrows, starlings, and finches, and maybe woodpeckers and mockingbirds, but we were surprised to see the Curve-billeds using it. We’d never heard of them using suet feeders and we thought they might be too big and heavy to negotiate the one we’ve put up, but they are more acrobatic than you’d suspect for a bird that typically runs rather than flies when alarmed.
