Due to snow and ice, Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge was closed on this particular day. So I headed for the bank of the Choptank River, hoping to seesome wintering waterfowl. I was delighted to capture this handsome pair of wigeon as they descended toward the frigid waters of the Choptank River.
