On my daily walk along the Upper Charles River Reservation Greenway in Watertown, MA, I sit on a boulder at the river’s edge to drink my morning coffee. A Grackle seemed to have noticed I brought peanuts for the squirrels. Now, the enterprising bird shows up when I do, squawks, begging for a peanut, too.
