It was a frosty foggy morning when I went to Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge located just south of Salem, Oregon. I was sitting in my pickup when a Lincoln’s Sparrow landed in a nearby bush. It had its feathers all puffed up trying to keep warm I took this photo out of my pickup window.
