Description

Each year in April and May we get a chance to see Lincoln’s Sparrows in our yard as they migrate to their breeding grounds. They stay pretty close to the ground under the shrubs, but will venture out to nab seeds that fall from the feeders and the mealworms that somehow escape from the cups. It is such a treat to watch them. They are my favorite springtime arrival.
