Description

I visited Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge in the springtime in hopes of seeing Roseate Spoonbills which are known to be there. The refuge has a wonderful wildlife drive around the wetlands where I spotted six or more spoonbills feeding at a distance. What really caught my eye was when one took flight in its brilliant pink plumage. Luckily I had my camera ready to capture the beautiful moment.
