I have participated in Project FeederWatch for quite a few years. I always have Northern Cardinals at my feeders, but this year was different since we had cardinals nesting in our yard. Although I never located the nest, we have had juveniles this summer and fall. I have never seen this before. They are adorable as their feathers are not fully developed. I captured this juvenile male a few weeks ago.
