The Red-bellied Woodpecker is one of the most beautiful birds in my yard. This male was constantly on the hanging feeder this spring. I love the way he uses his tail feathers for balance and while on this feeder; it sure comes in handy.

So beautiful to see this woodpecker getting food! I think he stopped eating to pose, ha! His colors are gorgeous, I’ve never seen one! Good capture!
