Description

Our Western NY property includes a bit of lawn, a stretch of pines and a lot of wild space that slopes up a mountain. The Winters are long and the Spring bird migration eagerly anticipated. The migrants reliably return every year during the last week in April and the first week in May. In 2020, the returning Baltimore Orioles, Rose Breasted Grosbeaks, Tanagers and Warblers were treated to an early May snowstorm. We spent the day trying to control the habitat by keeping the jelly and seed feeders full for our confused warm weather residents.
