This Carolina Wren appeared in my yard around Feb. 7th. S/he has taken shelter in the Christmas tree placed near the feeders. She goes to the feeders, to the birdbath, hunts around at the base of the maple tree that holds the feeders, or s/he sits on a branch watching what is going on all around. I’ve never had a single bird do this before. It is now Feb. 16th, and she was still here today.
