When I lived in Monument, Colorado, each year a Tree Swallow pair would nest in my yard. Most early mornings and most evenings before sundown they would perch on opposite sides of the deck on the wires holding my hummingbird feeders. They were fairly comfortable with me being near, so I have lots of great close-ups of both birds. This is one of my favorites.

Note: I now live in Marion, Illinois (where I submitted from), but the photo is from Monument, CO.
