Description

Immature male Bullock’s Oriole isn’t pleased with the idea that the Gila Woodpecker is feasting on his jelly. I have a full series of photo’s on this and the Oriole did indeed chase the woodpecker away. I originally started putting jelly out to attract Orioles, I have found it is a huge hit with not only orioles but also woodpeckers, House Finch, Lucy’s Warblers and Verdin

Jelly Over Jelly

Ummm, excuse me Woody, that's MY jelly
