I have several feeders out in my backyard for winter and this is my first year attracting a Red-breasted Nuthatch. One day while out filling feeders, this little one did not fly away. I ran into the house and grabbed my camera and when I went back out he was still there so I snapped some photos. I love getting a new species to my yard and most of my birds love the seed cylinders I purchase from Wild Birds Unlimited.
