Description

Although House Finches are so common on the East Coast, they are still a bird that is beautiful, adorable, and most of all, noisy. They are very loud and easily heard, so when I heard their loud calls, I grabbed my camera and headed outside. While they were waiting for their turn at the feeder, they would sit at the fence calling to one another or just enjoying themselves. It had started to snow while I was outside and then this colorful male came to the fence. He looked as if he was having the time of his life gazing out at the snowy land. Then, his turn came for the feeder, and he was off, and so was I, with some great shots of House Finches.
