I looked out my front door this fall to see this sharp-shinned hawk perched right above one of my feeders in a nearby tree. I was able to quietly grab my camera, go out the back door, and slowly walk toward the bird to get some photos. I was able to take several photos before it flew off. Since then, I have seen it several times.
