Description

I was outside with my new camera and was anticipating for the arrival of the Evening Grosbeaks since it is an irruption year and there have been so many sightings of these beautiful birds. While birding I was watching this Red-Breasted Nuthatch, but then I heard the “flock call” of the Evening Grosbeaks and saw 7 of them all together land in my Red Cedar tree. I hurried up to get as many pictures as I could before they took off. This picture of the two ladies is my favorite one of them.
