Description

I’ve never had Pine Siskins show up in my yard unless it was an irruptive year. I presume that this is such a year, but it is equally unusual to see only one Pine Siskin when they are irruptive. This one little bird showed up all by itself on Christmas Day, and I suppose it was traveling with a flock of American Goldfinches, since I’ve got dozens of them around my feeders.
