Description

These little Carolina wrens fledged out of a wren box on our front porch. They were reluctant to leave the area and ended up sheltering in our potted plants for 20 minutes, or so until one of the parents was able to entice them through the flower beds and on into the woods. The photo of the adult is a couple of days earlier as he/she was preparing to feed the young ones in the box.
