Description

This Hermit Thrush has taken up residence recently. It hops down from a small tree to the same spot on the fence every day, then surveys the yard before continuing to the ground to forage under our oak tree.

This is a charming photo. I am hoping to get permission to use it in a book being self-published by a group of seniors who have settled in Boston’s South End neighborhood over the past 50 years. The book contains memories and anecdotes of moving into a depressed area and bringing it to its current, desirable, sought-after neighborhood. Please let me know if you need more information. It would suffice to send an email granting permission – or not. Your attention is much appreciated. The photographer would be definitely be credited.
