Northern Mockingbird
Have you heard this mockingbird sing? It looks like a female to me.
The Mockingbirds that visit my feeders are the most ungrateful opportunists ever. They come and eat my feed, but they live in trees that are 1000 feet away from my house, so, if they are singing, they are just too far distant for me to hear…although I will occasionally walk over to be nearer to their normal haunts to enjoy their varied mimicry of different birds.
