I couldn’t believe my eyes when I went out onto my backyard deck. The red-tail hawk was about 20 feet from where I was sitting. I must have taken 50 pictures during that hour visit. He was amazingly beautiful. It was a very hot day for Michigan so I assumed he needed a cooler place to relax and maybe snag a meal. No other birds showed up during that hour.
